The company ?Givaja Voda? entered the market in November 1991 under the name of ?Torn?, which was later changed to ?Torn Eco?. The company became the first one in Russia to start the bottling and delivery of drinking water, breaking down the skepticism toward ?water for money? and promoting healthy life style. As the Russian standards for bottled drinking water were developed and the demand for drinking water and expectations towards its quality grew, the system of water preparation was improved and a modernized complex for bottling, sealing and meeting the sanitary norms was introduced.
Later, in 1999, when a necessity to refuse of purchasing imported bottles and caps emerged, the first factory producing 18.9 l. polycarbonate bottles was started in Moscow suburbs. In the begging a moulding process was used for manufacturing. However, bottles with side seams weren?t suit for multiple reuse, and already in 2001 the company refused of this technique. A line, producing ?seamless? bottles, using the newest blowing technique, was started. The quality of bottles produced by the concern is acknowledged to be the best in Russia and surpasses the existing supply in Russia and UIS (Union of Independent States).
1999, the Concern was the first one in Russia to start producing caps for 18.9 l. polycarbonate bottles. Alike for bottle production, an automatic line, supplied with the most modern imported equipment, was used here as well. Using the most modern equipment of high quality is a tradition of the Concern. Caps, depending on the wish of the customer can be either without or with stick-on or weld-on labels. The quality and diversity of the 19 l bottles and caps produced fully satisfy customers? demand.
July 2005, in the center of Siberia, Novosibirsk, another factory producing ?seamless? 18.9 l polycarbonate bottles, using the blowing technique was started. In September 2007 an additional line, manufacturing ?seamless bottles? was started in the Novosibirsk factory.
As years went by, a small company of only four people grew into a powerful concern which produces drinking water of the highest category of quality, bottles, caps and handles as well as supplies its customers with water business equipment.
The head of Concern is the company president Valentina S. Kuptsova. The concern ?Givaja Voda? works in close cooperation with the ?Water-Medicine-Ecology? Association and is an active member of the Association from the first day of its foundation.The Concern has also initiated creating the National Association of bottled waters of Russia (NABWR). The concern is also a member of this Association from the very moment it was founded in July 2004. The president of the Concern is a board member of the NABWR.
One has managed to pool the experience, the knowledge of scientists and skills of engineers who have for many years worked with space projects, within the concern and turn the concern ?Givaja Voda? into a Russian scientific production amalgamation, using space technologies. People, who throughout many years of responsible work got used to paying special attention to quality, naturally considered their main aim to be the produce of high quality when it came to creating water preparation complexes as well. This becomes possible only using the most modern technological processes, the newest imported automatic equipment and raw materials of highest quality. The manufacture production of the Concern (bottles and caps) is protected with patents of the Russian Federation.
The largest firms of Russia, banks and representatives of known foreign companies, restaurants, fitness centers, trade firms, colleges, schools, living complexes, common citizens of Moscow and its suburbs use the production of the Concern ?Givaja Voda?.
Throughout the whole time of its existence, the Concern has been actively involved in charity: it takes part in developing children?s sports and is the sponsor of the children?s sailing sport school of the Russian Navy; the Concern is also helping the Church to the Holy Trinity in Moscow and an Orthodox church gymnasium in the Tshurovo village by Kolomna town and participates in the Ronald McDonald charity fund for handicapped children.

In commemoration of its 15th Anniversary, the Concern was awarded a sign of honour ?For services to development of science and economy of Russia?, which now decorates the Concern?s banner. In honour of the anniversary 34 of the best employees of the Concern were also awarded certificates and rewarded with valuable presents and travel tours. The general directors of the Concern?s companies Yulia Kazakova and Andrey Kuptsov were granted the highest award of the Russian Natural Sciences Academy ? a sign of honour ?For services to Fatherland?.
In 2006 based on an independent assessment of the Expert council in the economy and management domain of the editorial board of the National encyclopedia of individuals of the Russian Federation, the general director of the company ?Givaja Voda ? SPM? Andrey Kuptsov was awarded a title of ?The Top manager of the Russian Federation? and was granted a national certificate.
March 2008, for the outstanding quality of its production, the Concern?s was granted a ?European quality? award at the Oxford Business Assembly.
The high quality of the Concern?s production is being recognized at all domestic and foreign water exhibitions, forums and congresses.
